I do feel some hope although I think Bogdan's loneliness was his own doing.

You know how I am about making commitments.” I have to admit I never thought of reading a book as a commitment. Did the plot pull you in or did you feel you had to force yourself to read the book? The author grabs readers' attention from the beginning with Anna waking up in a hotel bed and does not remember who is sleeping beside her. No, this was not a forced read.
How realistic was the characterization? Did the actions of the characters seem plausible? I once had a college roommate similar in appearance to Winter. She said it was Goth. Don’t really know if she was interested in Wicca.

This story ended perfect for Nana. The Indians were her idols. Wouldn't rewrite any of it.
What did you think was the most interesting part of the book? Why?
Nana's 100th Birthday. Her life was complete. She had pretty much done it all.

Was location important to the story? This story could take place in any western town. The city or state did not make a difference. What did you think of the cover? The cover does not represent a western historical setting. The characters on the cover are too modern looking.
Would you recommend it? I would recommend this book to anyone who likes historical romance in a western US setting.

How does the setting figure into the book? The setting changed many times as everyone chased after Eric. I feel this book was brought to life by the changing settings
Cover – The cover was interesting, mysterious and you don't really know what to expect until you're almost halfway through and then it makes complete sense.
What did you think of the ending? It was expected but very remarkable. The author definitely has a way with words and I want to read his books, if he has written any.

If you could only save one character from the book, which one would it be and why? Grandpa, because I so enjoyed this character. He was so witty, a real gem. Have met a few grand grandpa's.Is the title a good one or a poor one and why? The title fits Fargo. Cold and deadly.
Did you like the way the story ended? It was a blast of an ending. Kept you guessing, all the way through.
What did you think was the most interesting part of the book? When Brandon was in the basement and Ellie seen his head roll down the stairs. Could imagine seeing that for real.

Is the story plot or character driven? The story was plot driven. The book club members and I decided the story would not work any other way.
What motivates a given character’s actions? Kai did everything he could to keep his loved ones safe. Although, he was physically strong, a lot of his decisions were driven by his heart.
What was the mystery and how it was solved It was a mystery. Kai found out what he was and what it meant to be a shape shifter like his dad.
If you could continue the story, what events would you include? I would give it a stronger ending. Felt like something was missing but then again this could be because two should be released soon.

Was the time period important to the story? No, time period was not important. Take out the electronics and this could happen in any year/century.What alternative title would you choose for this book? Would have titled it, Children Of The Night.
What did you like about it? That the author is trying to make everyone aware about this horrible thing happening to children.
What did you dislike? Eric. I will leave it as that.

Cover – The cover was good. It looked desolate and spooky. It fit the story.Top 3 things I liked about the whole book – Fast and interesting read. Full of suspense and heroism. The justice that Alison was able to execute for the sake of her family made the book even more worthwhile.

Is the title a good one or a poor one and why? I am undecided on the title. It fit the book but just did not come off as a grab me now and read title.What I liked. Enjoyed almost everything about this book.
What I didn't like. Sorry, Bunny was a big turn off for me. I understand why she was written into the story, does not mean I have to like her.
What did you think of the ending? Really liked the ending.

Marching With Caesar: Civil War
Did this book give you any new ideas about yourself? If people would set an example like Titus and complete everything to the best of their ability and make sure it was completed correctly, the world would be a better place. What would the main character be likely to do if s/he visited? I can just picture Titus now, standing in his Legion uniform and armor. I wonder if he would try to run us thru with his sword or consider everyone witches with all the different gadgets around. I can see him attacking the phone as it rings. – hold on be right back this is to funny.
If you were in a problem situation like one in the book, how would you have acted? I can tell you I would not have handled any problem like Titus. I would not have even come close to handling problems as he did. Titus was a great diplomat.
What lesson did you learn from the story? No everything is as it appears. As with all wars there is loss and gain. The winner is never determined by who won the battle.
